Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at West End Convenience Store. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Manage the store's inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory costs, and other expenses.
- Ensure that the store is clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform other duties as required by the store manager or as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
- 5 years or more of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or CEGEP education preferred.
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Stand for extended periods and move around the store as needed.
- Use a computer and other office equipment as needed.
- English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- 35 to 40 hours per week.
