Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at West End Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training to perform their tasks effectively.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- College or CEGEP education.
- At least 5 years of experience in a retail management role, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Standing for extended periods.
