Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at West End Convenience Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Order merchandise and manage our inventory to ensure that we have the products our customers want, when they want them.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff, including cashiers, grocery clerks and shelf stockers, retail salespersons and sales clerks.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
