Client Life Assistant

The Client Life Assistant will provide coordination of client care for those enrolled in Teen Challenge's 12-month faith-based rehabilitation program. This role involves working with clients in all areas of personal development, growth, life skills, and social and spiritual activities to enable them to attain their full potential. Responsibilities include promoting a supportive environment, ensuring physical needs are met, and maintaining accurate records of daily logs, shift reports, and client activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform admissions of applicants into the Teen Challenge Program, welcoming applicants and administering all forms and consents
- Attend to legal matters, including communications with external legal parties
- Enrol and administer social service support programs available to clients
- Ensure timely client scheduling, communications, and coordination of off-site and on-site client activities
- Provide daily processing, communication, and coordination of client requests
- Coordinate client appointments, including legal, medical, and dental appointments
- Coordinate staff requests for client activities, such as outreach and special events
- Provide oversight to client needs and requests, including bed assignments and dormitory needs
- Coordinate client after-hours activities and client affairs as needed
- Coordinate client affairs with other staff as needed
- Provide assistance for the Learning Opportunities Program and administration of procedures
- Coordinate client compliance with program policy and procedures
- Manage client personal effects storage
- Maintain and oversee discharge procedures for clients departing the program
- Participate in departmental operational duties, tasks, and meetings
- Perform tasks and duties assigned by the Client Life Coordinator and Centre Director
