We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A & W Cardston. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Recruit and hire staff
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Willing to relocate
- Fast food outlet or concession
- Attention to detail
- Fast-paced environment
- Physically demanding
- Repetitive tasks
- Standing for extended periods
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of dedicated staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
