Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at A & W Cardston. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
- Language: English language proficiency.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 32-40 hours per week. You will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail and physical stamina.
