Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A & W CARDSTON. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a fast food outlet or concession.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
