Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A & W CARDSTON. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Willing to relocate
  • Fast food outlet or concession experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
Working Conditions:

The Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a high level of physical activity. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
