Hotel Managing Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 By Wyndham Clifton Hill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate and review work, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:

Our hotel is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Hotel Managing Supervisor, you will be expected to work a 35-40 hour week, with occasional overtime required.
