About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our property management division as Vice President, Property Management Operations. This is a key leadership position that will drive the growth and success of our property management business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic direction of our property management division
  • Lead the operations strategy for all new development sites
  • Maximize financial performance and cash flow
  • Develop and execute new strategic initiatives to improve brand awareness and company value
  • Maintain the physical integrity of all properties
  • Procure and maintain licenses and attend to governmental relations
  • Oversee business operations and activities to ensure success
  • Manage property tax appeals and negotiate major service contracts
  • Build strong relationships with counterparties and stakeholders
Administration and Reporting
  • Review annual operating budgets and long-range capital budgets
  • Review monthly variance reports and evaluate property performance
  • Work with the corporate team on conceptual proforma preparation
  • Prepare annual business plans with financial and non-financial projections
Training and Development
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead execution and training directives
  • Plan monthly Regional Manager meetings to discuss best practices
  • Oversee and assist in training Regional Managers
  • Facilitate regularly scheduled Regional Manager feedback meetings
Customer Service
  • Review customer service surveys and follow up action taken by staff
  • Participate in resident events as appropriate
  • Coordinate marketing objectives and growth targets
  • Plan, implement, and manage brand guidelines and marketing initiatives
Team Leadership
  • Lead the Property Management team, providing oversight, mentorship, and coaching
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to forecast team requirements and recruit new team members
  • Manage the performance and execution of team members and objectives
