Job Title: HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc. in Toronto, ON. This is a 16-month hybrid contract position with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coordinate a robust performance management framework to ensure the ongoing development and engagement of employees.
  • Oversee and manage staffing activities that support organizational growth, workforce planning, and maintenance.
  • Plan, develop, and implement programs focused on continuous employee learning and engagement.
  • Assist with compliance activities related to AODA and Health & Safety, and support DEI initiatives essential to the organization's objectives.
  • Manage policy implementation, support employee relations, and provide HR guidance across multiple HR areas.
  • Coordinate risk planning and contribute to mitigation strategies, including tracking and reporting on related metrics.
  • Assist in financial planning and manage employee benefits administration.
  • Oversee various operational functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in an HR generalist or specialist role, with a proven ability to achieve strategic HR objectives.
  • Core HR Processes: Demonstrated experience in managing talent, learning development, and employee relations.
  • Decision Making: Proven ability to make sound business decisions and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior management.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Demonstrated leadership, staff management, and team-building skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Legislation: Ability to interpret and implement personnel-related legislation and a thorough understanding of labor laws.
