About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at TuxMat Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to support various HR functions and contribute to the smooth operation of our human resources processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, and initial screening to ensure we find the best talent for our team.
  • Coordinate interviews and assessments to deliver a positive candidate experience.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion and orientation sessions to set them up for success.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and professional assistance to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist with employee investigations and conflict resolution as needed to maintain a positive work culture.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive work culture through engagement initiatives and team-building activities to promote collaboration and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Handle HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policy updates to stay organized and compliant.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries to support employee well-being.
  • Coordinate training programs and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Support the performance management process by assisting with goal setting, feedback collection, and performance reviews to drive growth and improvement.
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance and minimize risk.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to improve HR processes and employee engagement.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness and achieving business objectives.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a human resources role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation, Health & Safety legislation, and Employment Law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build employee relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proactive attitude and attention to detail to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Ability to make decisions with efficient risk assessment once acquired and trained in the role.

  • A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
