Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:
Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

* Provide HR support to all teams located across Canada
* Lead the recruiting, hiring and on-boarding process of both salaried and hourly employees
* Oversee the Onboarding for all new hires
* Perform updates on HRIS and maintain other confidential personnel files updated
* Prepare and organize job descriptions, employment letters and training records
* Provides support to supervisors and managers on employee relations issues, performance and attendance management as well as investigations/disciplinary issues
* Support ISO 90001, 14001 and 50001 initiatives and represent HR on all matters related to Training and Competence for ISO Systems Management and Audits
* Participate and assist in the Global Performance Management Program (GPMP) and Merit Rating system
* Assist with Compensation market data as required by the HR Manager

Qualifications:

* University Degree or College Diploma, Majoring in Human Resources
* More than 5 years experience in a HR Generalist capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience with SAP Success factors preferred
* CHRP/CHRL designation preferred
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent judgment and discretion in managing highly sensitive and confidential information
* Ability to work both independently or in a team environment
* Strong organizational and administrative skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong communications skills, verbal and written
