Job Title: Senior Pharmaceutical Policy and Program Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmaceutical Policy and Program Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Ministry pharmacy programs, policies, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Ministry pharmacy programs, policies, and initiatives
- Apply leadership and technical knowledge to undertake the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of Ministry pharmacy programs, policies, and initiatives
- Establish positive working relationships with a range of branches within the Ministry, community pharmacists, pharmacy regulatory and professional organizations, and other stakeholders
- Identify and develop required changes to legislation, regulations, policies, and standards
- Resolve community pharmacy-related issues, including those related to pharmacy practice and pharmacist professional services
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree
- Several years of recent experience working as a community pharmacist
- Managerial experience in pharmacy or other health-related environments
- License with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
