U-Box Customer Care Representative

Job Summary:

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Care Driver to join our team. As a Customer Care Driver, you will be responsible for delivering U-Box containers to customers and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a flatbed truck to transport U-Box containers to and from customers' homes and local businesses.
  • Load and unload U-Box containers from the truck.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers, ensuring their U-Box containers are delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality service to customers.

Requirements:

  • Clean motor vehicle driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Canada- Class 3 or D Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background investigation.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
