Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to protect workers and the public.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure they are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with workers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills to prepare reports and other documents.
  • Work Term: Permanent with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English is required.
