Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
  • Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
