Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating cross-functional teams on multiple Moulding and Automation Solutions programs to ensure the execution of quality-related processes and tools.
Your Responsibilities- Manage program quality by establishing back-end quality assurance on existing programs, completing supplier and customer sampling and control plan requirements, and directing dimensional control of ongoing programs.
- Design, execute, and evaluate quality systems particular to assigned products, such as control plans, and participate as an active member of the APQP team.
- Obtain customer approvals on all parts and quality systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements and retaining documentation of same.
- Ensure all products are at the appropriate engineering change level and strive for zero defects in all areas of the business.
- Post-secondary bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering or technical field.
- ASQ "Certified Quality Engineer" certification preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in quality manufacturing or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Able to read and interpret automotive engineering drawings and math data, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques, including experimental design, SPC, and charting.
