Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Production Support Developer to join our team at Manulife. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and troubleshooting for over 50 Informatica applications in two separate environments.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of experience in IT operations and a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter, including version 10.x. They must also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and debug Informatica ETL transformations and embedded SQL code, track source/target locations, and raise incident tickets in accordance with established Change Management process.
  2. Participate in platform upgrades, create/maintain/update Platform Support documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help related materials for users.
  3. Be available to work off-hours and extended shifts if required, provide On-Call support as part of On-Call rotation within Platform Support team.
  4. Proactive ownership of incidents-issues until resolution, logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution.
  5. Building effective working relationships with internal and external resources, technology vendors, and outsourcing service providers.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least two to three years of relevant experience in IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter, including version 10.x, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
