About the Role

As a Senior Informatica IDMC Developer at Astra North Infoteck Inc., you will be responsible for designing and developing ETL processes using Informatica Powercenter and IICS / IDMC. You will work closely with software developers, architects, business analysts, designers, and clients representatives to define the direction and approach to design and development. Key responsibilities include translating detailed specifications into Informatica / IICS ETL process design, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and documenting ETL processes, and utilizing SQL, scripts, and other tools to assist with solution development.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area, and experience writing complex SQL queries for data sources and visualization. They will also have strong professional consulting skills, the ability to establish and maintain customer trust and confidence, and a proven ability to negotiate and influence others. Additionally, they will have experience with architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, and architecture certifications. The candidate should be comfortable working in a constantly evolving technological environment and be an excellent teammate who demonstrates leadership.

Additional Information

The Senior Informatica IDMC Developer will be responsible for conducting unit tests and assisting in test preparations to ensure data integrity, data quality, and program quality. They will also assist with troubleshooting ETL processes in Quality Assurance/SIT or Production environments. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business users, and prepare and deliver presentations to business users.

Key Skills

The successful candidate will have solid knowledge and experience with SQL and relational platforms (Oracle or SQL Server) and experience working within a cross-functional agile team to provide client delivery. They will also have knowledge of Agile development practices and experience with project management tools such as BitBucket and Jira. Additionally, they will have experience with scripting languages such as VB, Shell, or Perl scripts, and be able to utilize SQL, scripts, and other tools to assist with solution development.
