Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Gold's Gym British Columbia. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and Welcome Members and Guests: Greet members and guests enthusiastically to create a positive atmosphere and encourage a sense of community at the club.
- Ensure Smooth Operations: Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly, and that all members and guests are checked in using the proper registration procedures.
- Monitor and Resolve Issues: Monitor member check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee or department in a prompt and professional manner, and promote club events, group fitness classes, and other in-club events to members and guests.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Efficiently and effectively input and update daily cash reconciliation documents, process point of sale items, and distribute membership cards, parking decals, towels, child-minding tickets, and other materials as needed.
- Ensure Club Cleanliness: Ensure that the club is clean and well-maintained, and that all areas are tidy and organized.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Focus: Customer service driven with an enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and promoting client loyalty.
- Positive Attitude and Communication Skills: Have a positive attitude and outstanding, adaptive communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with members, guests, and colleagues.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Cash Handling and Transaction Processing: Knowledge of cash transaction processing procedures and the ability to efficiently and effectively process transactions.
