Liquor Store Manager

Liquor Planet Morinville is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure seamless customer service and efficient store operations.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
- Authorize Payments and Orders: Process payments and place orders for merchandise, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Proactively address customer complaints and concerns, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock is properly stored and rotated.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee and direct the activities of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A minimum of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- 1-2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role is required.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances is crucial.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
- 30-40 Hours per Week: The work schedule is approximately 30-40 hours per week.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
