Liquor Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Liquor Planet Morinville. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales professionals who embody our company values.
  • Authorize Payments: Process payments and manage cash handling procedures to maintain store security.
  • Order Merchandise: Source and procure high-quality products to meet customer demands.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure efficient product flow.
  • Supervise Staff: Mentor and guide sales staff to achieve sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: A minimum of one to two years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic team.
