Liquor Store Supervisor Job Description

Liquor Planet Morinville is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales professionals who embody our company values.
  • Authorize Payments and Orders: Manage financial transactions, including cheque payments and merchandise orders, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal store performance.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve supply shortages, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Organize Inventory: Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure efficient stockroom operations.
  • Supervise Staff: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to sales staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A minimum of a secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Player: A collaborative and supportive team player who embodies our company values.
