Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop EUC Support Specialist to join our team at Iron Systems. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support for our desktop devices, ensuring that our employees have the tools they need to be productive and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop devices (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Provide expert-level support for IMAC and desk-side services, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
  • Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops, ensuring that all devices are functioning optimally.
  • Offer standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on desktop devices for their entire lifecycle, including remote management using appropriate tools.
  • Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image, meeting company standards and security requirements.
  • Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices, taking prompt action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
  • Provide VIP support for desk-side issues, serving as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters at the site.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience with Windows 7 OS.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory (AD) and smart hands and feet support.
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting MAC devices and tablets.
  • Experience with service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and service request management.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics, or a Bachelor's degree preferred.
