Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware Deployment: Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and POS devices.
  • Software Installation and Support: Handle software installation, support, and upgrades to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
  • Deskside Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting services for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Help Desk Support: Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Network Infrastructure: Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities to ensure the stability and security of our network.
  • Bench Repairs: Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware deployment and deskside support.
  • Certifications: A+ certification and/or other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Skills: Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
