Desktop EUC Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop EUC professional to join our team at Iron Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing desktop devices, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity incidents.
  • Provide technical support for IMAC and desk-side services.
  • Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops.
  • Support and maintain desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and spares.
  • Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure desktop devices are installed with the appropriate desktop image.
  • Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices.
  • Provide VIP support for desk-side issues and serve as the point of contact for IT-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 OS.
  • Good understanding of AD and smart hands and feet support.
  • Experience with Service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
  • Awareness of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request management.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics.
