We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a front-line case manager providing protection and prevention services to children and families in a designated First Nations community. You will be responsible for managing caseloads specific to Family Protection and Children-In-Care with prescribed timelines.

  • Providing culturally sensitive support to clients and their families, including crisis intervention and assessment of high-risk situations.
  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships with community resources to ensure access to essential services.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective case plans that prioritize the well-being and safety of children and families.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, you will need excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum two years' experience in front-line case management with Children-in-Care and families.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous culture, history, and child welfare practices.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, including report writing and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory background checks, including Child Abuse Registry and Prior Contact Check.
