About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Operations Specialist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our user community, ensuring the health and performance of our Perforce environments, and collaborating with our product team to deliver our IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support to our user community through various help channels, focusing on common Helix Core and Swarm issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of our Perforce environments, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Design and implement multi-server environments using Perforce, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Identify repetitive operational tasks and develop process improvements and automation solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, working collaboratively with our scrum or kanban team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with our product team to deliver our IT strategy, understanding the evolving needs of our studio and game creation processes.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience providing application support with Helix Core applications (p4d, p4v, p4p).
  • At least 1 year of experience providing system support for Linux operating systems.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex, unfamiliar issues.
  • Experience participating in Scrum and/or Kanban Agile ceremonies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with creating and/or supporting in-house tools using languages such as PowerShell, Python,.Net Core (C#), BASH, Perl.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring and analysis tools, such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or similar.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Professional certifications, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, VMWare, Linux, CompTIA, Agile Scrum.
  • Familiarity with product/service delivery methodologies.
