Game Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users through various channels for common Helix Core and Swarm issues.
  • Monitor Perforce environments for application and system health, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Create and maintain complex Perforce multi-server environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Identify repetitive operational tasks and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality IT solutions and services.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand studio and game creation needs, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience providing application support for Helix Core applications (p4d, p4v, p4p).
  • 1+ year of experience providing system support for Linux operating systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, unfamiliar issues.
  • Experience participating in Scrum and/or Kanban Agile ceremonies.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with creating and/or supporting in-house tools using languages such as PowerShell, Python, .Net Core (C#), BASH, Perl.
  • Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and analysis tools, such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or similar.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Professional certifications, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, VMWare, Linux, CompTIA, Agile Scrum.
  • Familiarity with product/service delivery methodologies.
