Job Summary

The Charity Village is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead all aspects of the organization with integrity and transparency. The successful candidate will function as a member of the Executive Committee and be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of the strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to advance the organization's mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, donors, and community leaders.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the organization's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve the organization's objectives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of related senior management experience in the sport/business sector or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a hybrid environment, with a combination of remote and in-office work. A bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of related senior management experience in the sport/business sector or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience are required. The ability to communicate in both English and French is considered an important asset, with emphasis being placed on verbal communication.
