St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is seeking a part-time nursing admin assistant scheduler. This is a non-union position. We offer a competitive salary range between $23.97 - $25.71, flexible shifts, HOOPP Pension plan, and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

The hours are Friday 12-8, Saturday 7-3 and Sunday 7-3.

**Job Summary**:

- responsible for scheduling replacement staff in the event of sick calls and/or unplanned absences in accordance with the respective Collective Agreements;
- completing payroll timesheets;
- updating daily the time schedule changes and notifying the Chief Nursing Executive;
- monitoring sick time, absenteeism and other scheduling issues, and reporting them to the Chief Nursing Executive;

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Secondary School Diploma
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education an asset

**-**Experience in an office environment
- Understanding and experience with information technology tools, i.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Financial Accounting software.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, in situations that require tact, diplomacy, and discretion

**-**Three to five (3-5) years of customer service experience
- Must be detail orientated with a high degree of accuracy

**-**Criminal reference check for the vulnerable sector
