Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
  • Operations Evaluation: Regularly evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service to our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the restaurant.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational skills.
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods is required.
