Retail Operations and Sales Development Manager

The Swatch Group Ltd, the world's largest manufacturer of Swiss quality watches, watch movements, and components, is seeking a highly skilled Retail Operations and Sales Development Manager to join their team.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented professional to lead our retail teams in the Canadian market, analyzing performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities. As a key member of our Hour Passion & Prestige Sales & Operations Coordinator team, you will be responsible for developing sales and operations strategies to maximize growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy Development: Create comprehensive sales and operations strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
- Financial Management: Review P&L statements, develop budgets and forecasts, and provide timely financial reports to ensure accurate decision-making.
- Talent Management: Collaborate with HR and Store Management teams to select, retain, and succession plan top talent.
- Coaching & Training: Mentor Store Management on KPIs and maintain an accountability culture.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with visual/merchandising directives.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Resolve escalated issues and schedule repair work orders.
- Project Management: Set up new IOs for retail projects and analyze spending reports.
- Process orders for Prestige brands for Canadian retailers.
- Manage SKU system set up and availability communication.
- Prepare PO and ship notes to receive all POS inventory to ensure SAP accuracy.
- Analyze inventory and shippables.
- Prepare purchase orders for all marketing vendors and expenses.
- Maintain the Canadian marketing budget for prestige brands on a regular basis and keep track of all spending.
- Coordinate co-op advertising documentation for processing.
- Coordinate marketing materials and products for events.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A college diploma or university degree.
- 2-3 years of operations experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
- Experience with SAP is highly desired.
- Familiarity with Cegid and/or other POS systems is highly desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Training and presentation skills.
- French communication skills (an asset).
- Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Self-motivation, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Enthusiasm and passion for the brand and company.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, RRSP contributions with company match, company discount, life insurance, paid vacations, and paid sick days.
