Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining complex database systems using PL/SQL and MS SQL Server, as well as integrating IBM Infosphere DataStage with MDM systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience as a Developer or Technical Systems Analyst and a strong background in technical fields such as IT, Computer Science or related areas.
Key Responsibilities

The Enterprise Data Management Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining complex database systems using PL/SQL and MS SQL Server.
  • Integrating IBM Infosphere DataStage with MDM systems.
  • Guiding in Unix Shell Scripting to automate and streamline processes.
  • Applying DataStage Scheduler to manage and schedule ETL processes efficiently.
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and flow.
  • Fixing and resolving issues related to database performance and data integrity.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of business logic and the ability to transform it into solutions that include integration between DataStage servers and databases.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 7+ years of prior experience as a Developer or Technical Systems Analyst.
  • 3+ years of work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment.
  • Deep technical experience working with IBM Data Stage, SQL and Shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to transform business logic described in business requirements into solutions that include integration between DataStage servers and databases.
Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in Finance or FinTech, working knowledge of Confluence and/or Jira, and experience with SCM tools such as GitHub, Subversion, CA Harvest will be highly valued.
