Enterprise Data Management Solutions Architect

Cognizant, a global leader in digital transformation, is seeking an experienced DataStage Developer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and passion for innovation to drive business success.
As a DataStage Developer, you will play a critical role in creating enterprise-level data management and transfer solutions using IBM's DataStage ETL interface. You will work closely with our AIA Practice team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge data management solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
About the Role- You will have the opportunity to work on complex database systems using PL/SQL and MS SQL Server, integrating IBM Infosphere DataStage with MDM systems, and guiding Unix Shell Scripting to automate and streamline processes.
- You will apply DataStage Scheduler to manage and schedule ETL processes efficiently, collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and flow, and fix and resolve issues related to database performance and data integrity.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of prior experience as a Developer or Technical Systems Analyst.
- 3+ years of work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment.
- Deep technical experience working with IBM Data Stage, SQL, and Shell scripting.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to transform business logic described in business requirements into solutions that include integration between DataStage servers and databases.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our client's office in Toronto, ON. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
