We are seeking a highly skilled Material Analyst/Warranty Management Specialist to join our team at Railway Suppliers. This individual will be responsible for evaluating material needs and costs for maintaining the rail fleet and logistic processes of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Material Needs Evaluation: Confirm that all HSE policies, processes, and procedures are being complied with.
- Material Management: Responsible for managing material needs, ensuring a smooth flow of goods within the Operations distribution chain, and ensuring that the Company's inventory and shipping needs are up to date.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze the cost of products and services to ensure operating costs stay within budget.
- Warranty Administration: Analyze warranty data and status, complaint processing, and customer/supplier claims. Track and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting: Prepare senior management reports regarding any potential complications and develop KPIs to present data.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in analyzing Materials and Warranty principles/administration.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Inventory Control, Materials/Supply Chain Management, Warranty Administration, or a similar field.
- Skills: Ability to build strong rapport with the team and unionized maintenance personnel, extensive background in accomplishing business strategies, and experience dealing with headquarters.
