CDL-Toronto Venture Analyst

Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a premier seed stage program for massively scalable science-based ventures. As a Venture Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CDL-Toronto team in delivering the 2024/25 program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain workflows to ensure accurate and complete data logging in the CDL CRM system.
  • Support high-priority special projects, including current cohort operations, new stream development, and session preparation and execution.
  • Produce venture briefing materials, uploading them to relevant platforms, and conduct quality assurance.
  • Support the Venture Team in managing ventures through the program.
  • Coordinate and produce materials for key internal meetings.
  • Develop a strategy to identify and recruit high-quality CDL applicants.
  • Produce briefings on priority topics assigned by the CDL-Toronto Team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or technology background.
  • Master of Business Administration or BCom degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of business models and drivers of success in startups.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and set expectations.
  • High competence in using technology tools, such as CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.

We are seeking a highly organized and team-oriented individual with strong project management experience to join our team as a Venture Analyst.
