Job Summary

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing material movement duties in the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate the carousel system to pick orders and restock, ensuring product, lot numbers, and quantities are accurate, and SAP and Nova are updated.
  2. Pack shipments using SAP, verifying correct product, lot numbers, and quantities; wrapping, labeling, and weighing skids; and checking to ensure proper order and shipping labels are attached.
  3. Pick orders from overstock and ensure correct lot numbers and quantities are picked using the RF unit.
  4. Ship orders using a computerized freight management system.
  5. Move materials to best utilize warehouse space.
  6. Operate the forklift and other equipment in the warehouse safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
  7. Physically receive materials and verify shipment accuracy by checking for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
  8. Notify Inventory Analyst of any inventory discrepancies.
  9. Perform all work in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Standard Operating Documents (SOD's), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP's).
  10. Adhere to all internal and external regulations according to the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI), the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), and other regulatory agencies.
  11. Maintain a commitment to the corporate mission statement and initiatives.
  12. Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments as necessary.
  13. Work as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
  14. Perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
  15. Perform all work in accordance with established regulatory and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Education Post-Secondary Education preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Fluent in English written and oral communication. Knowledge of material handling equipment is an asset. Basic knowledge of computer operations. Willing to work various shifts and/or overtime when needed. No fear of heights.
  • Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a logistics environment (pharmaceutical experience an asset).
