Job Summary

The Materials Forecasting Analyst will play a key role in Porter Airlines' supply chain by analyzing and predicting demand for aircraft parts and tools. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to ensure accurate forecasting and timely procurement of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular reviews of provisioning requirements to ensure accurate forecasting and sourcing of materials
  • Coordinate with various teams, including maintenance, to ensure parts are sourced accurately and in a timely manner
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable commercial terms based on forecasting data
  • Maintain records and files according to company policy, including vendor audit forms

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or logistics
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry, preferably in materials planning and forecasting
  • Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with highly developed interpersonal skills
