About UsWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Housing Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide critical support to individuals in crisis, helping them navigate the complex system of housing and social services.
Job DescriptionThe Housing Support Specialist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized plans for securing stable housing. This may involve providing case management services, connecting clients with relevant resources, and advocating on their behalf to ensure access to necessary support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of client needs and developing effective plans for housing and support
- Providing case management services to clients, including goal setting, progress tracking, and advocacy
- Connecting clients with relevant resources, such as government programs, non-profit organizations, and private sector providers
- Facilitating communication between clients, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of support
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- A minimum of two years' experience in case management or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including:
