About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at SUN EXPRESS TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to succeed.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate and manage the flow of goods and materials, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational problems, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Arrange training for staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
