About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Simran Transhaul Inc. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including trial balances, to provide management with accurate and timely financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in bookkeeping or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately and efficiently, and excellent interpersonal skills.
