Job Summary

The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Capital Planner and Special Projects Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for overseeing capital budgets, developing effective capital planning and management systems, and working closely with program and technical personnel, as well as the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective capital planning and management systems
  • Oversee capital budgets ranging from $1 million to $50 million
  • Work with program and technical personnel, as well as the public
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the Department of Community and Government Services

Requirements

  • Recognized university degree in architecture, commerce, project management, engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in capital planning or related field
  • Experience in managing capital budget projects is an asset

Language of Work

The Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English and French. Applicants may submit their resume in any of the official languages of Nunavut. Fluency in two or more of Nunavut's official languages would be considered an asset.
