Asset Maintenance and Planning Coordinator

The Line Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning and scheduling programs for all distribution work performed in the Qikiqtaaluk Region. The position also ensures distribution work complies with QEC distribution standards, utility-industry best practices, workplace safety regulations, procurement guidelines, and QEC corporate policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedules and assigns distribution maintenance activities in the Qikiqtaaluk region and ensures all annual regional distribution maintenance targets are accomplished.
- Collaborates with the Manager, Distribution and Fleet Operations to schedule planned outages and coordinate and report on distribution system outages.
- Coordinates with the Engineering department to plan, design, and execute recoverable and capital projects.
- Liaises with other supervisors in the Operations department to plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance projects.
- Liaises with contractors to coordinate line crew activities.
- Reports on weekly material usage and ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained.
- Experience preparing capital and operating budgets is an asset.
- Experience working with a computerized maintenance management system is an asset.
- Formal training with Microsoft Office software is an asset.
