Landscaping Foreman/Woman Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Thrive Landscapes Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and timely completion.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, coordinating with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Plan and manage landscape construction work, including labor and material estimation, scheduling, and supervision.
  • Responsible for maintaining work records and logs, as well as tendering and administering contracts.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Provide technical advice, resolve work problems, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads, work at heights, and maintain a physically demanding pace.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent initiative and judgment.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, including on the road and in different weather conditions.

  • Handle heavy loads, work at heights, and maintain a physically demanding pace.
