Job Description

This Senior Fire Services Administrator position will be responsible for:

  • Operating and capital budget management
  • Quality assurance and data analysis
  • Personnel matters
  • Implementation of new technologies
  • Guiding and oversight to various divisions

The successful candidate must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Computer Assisted Dispatch systems, and a Class 'G' Ontario Driver's License. Experience with modern multi-jurisdictional dispatch operations and incident management systems is an asset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in fire services, typically acquired through post-secondary education and progressive responsibility within the field. They should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and provide training to others.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, based on industry standards and location. The City of Guelph offers a defined benefit pension plan with employer matching, extended health and dental benefits, and a Health Care Spending Account.
