Customer Focus- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
- Provide comprehensive financial planning advice and guidance to clients.
- Identify opportunities to refer clients to other business lines and segments.
- Exercise discretion in managing confidential information and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in financial planning.
- Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks.
- Participate as a member of the team to support a positive work environment and quality service.
- Contribute to the success of the team by assisting others and providing training and coaching as needed.
- Keep current on emerging trends and developments in the financial industry.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of financial products and services.
- Identify referral opportunities across business lines and segments.
- Understand the business and technical principles that underpin the design and delivery of financial products and services.
- University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
- IIROC license preferred.
