About the Role

Deliver exceptional customer service to BMO customers and prospects, providing advice and guidance on financial solutions. Collaborate with branch teams and BMO partners to achieve business objectives and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships beyond personal banking.
  2. Welcome and guide customers in the branch lobby, offering digital and self-serve options.
  3. Conduct client conversations about banking services and provide personal banking and investment advice as a lobby leader.
  4. Meet customer transaction needs with seamless execution.
  5. Review customer profiles and engage in needs-based conversations to identify potential opportunities and address everyday banking plans and credit card needs.
  6. Contribute to meeting branch business results and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  7. Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, and following up on customer applications.
  8. Act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team.
  9. Prove understanding of customer personal banking and credit card needs, integrating marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations.
  10. Organize work information for accuracy and completeness.
  11. Take initiative to find creative approaches that make each customer's experience feel personal.
  12. Look for ways to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the overall branch customer experience.
  13. Contribute to business results and the overall experience delivered in the branch.
  14. May work at multiple branches based on market needs; work schedule may differ from week to week.
  15. Follow through on risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets, maintain privacy, and act in their best interest.
About You
  • Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field is desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months) - as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
  • Confident and experienced in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
  • Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
  • Passionate commitment to helping customers.

About the Opportunity

BMO Financial Group offers a total compensation package that includes a salary range of $33,850 - $49,500, as well as performance-based incentives and discretionary bonuses.
