Family Service is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. For over 53 years, we have provided professional therapy and educational programs throughout Nova Scotia.
Location: Inverness County, NS
Qualifications: We are seeking an individual with a Master's level of social work degree, or related Master's degree in counselling who has experience working with individuals, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting. This position is a full-time permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering therapeutic services to adults, youth, and families
- Working as part of a team and engaged in reflective supervision
- Utilizing strong engagement skills, solution-focused work, and an understanding of trauma-informed principles
Requirements:
- Membership in good standing with their professional regulatory association
- A clear police background check
- A clear child abuse registry check
